With a strong academic background in Translation and Interpretation, Rocío has more than 12 years of experience in business development for different technical sectors and the last 5 years in the localization industry. 

Rocío is the Business Development Manager for Language Service Providers in the Spanish and Portuguese market at RWS. She helps LSPs find the best tools for their Translation project requirements and support her customers with helping them learn and grow with Trados’s continuously developing portfolio.

The terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”) set forth the competition draw (“Competition”) organized by SDL Limited (a part of RWS Holdings PLC group of companies) (“SDL”) and govern the eligibility to receive a prize under this Competition.
 
Definitions
 
  • "Event" shall mean "
  • The 5th ANETI 2025 Congress"
  • "Dates of Event" shall mean "22 May 2025"
  • "The Prize" shall mean "A pair of Bluetooth Headphones"
 
Competition details 
 
  • The objective of this competition is to give away The Prize to an attendee of the Event taking place on the Dates of Event.
 
 
How to enter
 
  • Complete the form on our event landing page, or complete the postcard form at our exhibit booth to be automatically entered. Entries must be made before 15:30 on the last of the Dates of Event. The winner will be announced at the end of the event. 
 
 
Eligibility
 
  • This Competition is open to all attendees of the Event who complete the form as described below (“Entrant”).
  • Entry into the Competition is done by completing the form on our event landing page or by completing a postcard form at our exhibit booth.
  • All Entrants must be aged 18 years or above. 
  • The Competition shall run on the Date of Event (“Eligibility Period”).
  • Any entries received after the Eligibility Period will not be entered into the Competition.
 
Requirements
 
  • Only one entry per person is allowed. Any Entrants that exceed that shall be disqualified from the Competition.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, Entrants do not have to pay a fee to enter into the Competition.
  • Entrants not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified from the Competition.
  • The winners may be required to participate in publicity connected with this promotion and it is a condition of entry that you consent to your name being publicly available if you win and accept the prize. 
  • Any personal information supplied to SDL shall be used and maintained in accordance with its privacy policy available - https://www.rws.com/legal/privacy/privacy-notice/ - and in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
 
Restrictions to Entries
 
  • Employees and agents of RWS group of companies and their immediate families will not be eligible to win any prizes. 
  • Government employees or officers, including employees of government agencies in fields such as healthcare, education, etc.; employees of a company that prohibits its employees from accepting gifts and/or entering into similar prize draws; are residents of a country to subject US embargo or a country that prohibit gifts and/or participation in similar prize draws are not eligible. If you are unsure as to whether or not you can enter into this prize draw, we would respectfully request that you seek guidance from your management or not participate.
 
Prize and Selection of Winner
 
  • The prize shall consist of The Prize.
  • The prize will be awarded on the last of the Dates of Event.
  • The prize winner will be announced at the Event.
  • All prizes are contingent on Entrant’s compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • Prizes will be awarded without any warranty of any kind from SDL, express or implied, without limitation.
  • If the winner of the prize cannot be reached within a period of one (1) week after reasonable efforts have been made or if the prize is unclaimed within a reasonable period at SDL’s discretion or declined within a reasonable period by the winner, a further prize draw will take place and a new winner will be selected accordingly.
  • Prizes are non-transferable. SDL reserves the right to discontinue the Competition or to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
  • SDL accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed or delayed entries, notices, acceptances or other documents related to the prize.
 
Liability
 
  • SDL shall not be held liable for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by the Entrant or for acceptance of a prize. Nothing shall exclude SDL liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. 
 
 
Warranty and Indemnity
 
  • As the sole and exclusive owner of the entries, Entrants shall warrant that they will not infringe any rights of a third party including moral rights, design rights, patent rights, utility model rights, copyrights, program copyrights and trade secrets.
  • In the event an Entrant breaches these Terms and Conditions, Entrant will indemnify SDL for all losses suffered under the Agreement.
 
 
General
 
  • SDL reserves the right to end or suspend the Competition; amend these Terms and Conditions; and/or declare void the notification of winners. 
  • If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid by a court of law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by final determination of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
  • These Terms and Conditions on the Competition shall be governed by English Law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
