About us:

As of 2025, the School of Modern Languages offers its degree programs in English with a newly updated and modernized curriculum. In accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. 3432/2019, particularly Articles 3 and 6, the revised programs feature updated disciplinary content, the integration of new technologies, and consideration of the evolving professional landscape for graduates. 

Key updates include: renamed subjects; revised timetables; restructuring of course placement within the curriculum; the addition of specialized professional training courses; a more flexible structure that incorporates elective subjects; and a dedicated research skills course or project, among other enhancements. With these curricular changes, the School of Modern Languages brings its programs in line with contemporary pedagogical standards and meets the academic and professional needs of future language specialists. These include graduates in English Conference Interpreting, Sworn Translation, and Scientific-Literary Translation. 

Courses offered:

Several courses in the curriculum include training in Trados Studio, such as Translation Method, Technical Translation I & II, Literary Translation I & II, Legal Translation I & II, and Audiovisual Translation.
