About us:

The Translation and Interpreting Department is one of the youngest departments at the University of Salamanca, which is one of the oldest universities in the world (founded in 1218). Both our Undergraduate Degree in Translation and Interpreting and our EMT Master's Degree in Translation and Intercultural Mediation are ranked among the best in Spain, highly regarded in Europe and the world, and we are the only Spanish signatory of a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations. We have a strong focus on diverse areas of study and expertise such as cultural translation, institutional translation and interpreting, as well as translation technology, localisation and accessibility.
