About us:

Royal Holloway is a top UK university and part of the University of London. The department of Languages, Literature and Cultures is a multi-disciplinary department in the School of Humanities. We currently have around 38 academic and teaching staff who teach on our degrees in Modern Languages (French, German, Italian, Hispanic Studies), Translation Studies, Comparative Literature and Culture, Liberal Arts, and History of Art and Visual Culture. We look after around 500 undergraduate students, and have more than 40 postgraduate students working towards Masters or PhD degrees.
