About us:
National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" is one of the oldest in Poltava region, Poltava, Ukraine. Its history goes back for over 200 years. It was founded in 1818 as the Institute for Noble Maidens. In the 1930s, Poltava became a center for the training of agricultural construction engineers to meet the rapidly growing need for engineering and construction personnel. Over the course of its history, the University has dynamically transformed from a mono-professional construction institute to a classical type multidisciplinary university with about 8,500 students.
Now the University has 8 educational and scientific institutes, faculties and professional colleges and provides training in more than 110 educational programs, including Sectoral Translation and Secondary Education (English Language and Second Foreign Language).
