About us
Department was created in 1992, culminating a process of integration of these specialties in Spanish universities, which in our case dates back to 1980, when the creation of the former School of Translators and Interpreters, predecessor of today's School, established in 1992-93. The department's faculty teaches a number of courses increased to nearly 1,400 students, mainly clustered around their first foreign language (Arabic, French or English). Besides the strictly educational work, the department organizes a number of extra-curricular academic activities (seminars, courses and conferences).
