About us:
Students wishing to study translation and interpreting can choose from several courses, leading to various professional qualifications. Four-semester part-time courses lead to qualifications as a 'Translator and Interpreter' or as a 'Translator'. Two-semester full-time courses prepare participants to become a 'Translator in Two Foreign Languages', a 'Conference Interpreter in Two Foreign Languages' or a 'Conference Interpreter in Three Foreign Languages'. Courses are available in several language combinations and are run in co-operation with renowned translators and interpreters. In 2009, the course for translators in two foreign languages became the first member in Hungary of the European Master's in Translation (EMT) network established by the EU's Directorate-General for Translation.
