What is your customer referral program?
The Trados Customer Referral Program is a simple way for existing Trados customers to refer businesses that may be interested in purchasing one of our Language Cloud offerings: Trados Team, Trados Accelerate, or Trados Enterprise. For every valid referral we receive that results in a new customer, we will reward the referrer with a free 12-month subscription to Trados Studio Freelance.
How does the referral program work?
It’s pretty simple. You interact with a variety of businesses in your day-to-day translation work. If you know of a business that could benefit from Trados technology, specifically our cloud offerings (Trados Team, Trados Accelerate, and Trados Enterprise), provide us with their contact information through our contact form so we can have a conversation with them.
Is there an incentive when I make a referral?
Yes! What’s a referral program without an incentive? For each successful referral, we will reward you with a 12-month subscription to Trados Studio Freelance.
Who is eligible to be a referral?
Any business not already known to us to have a valid interest in purchasing translation collaboration or management technology qualifies. If you know someone who could specifically benefit from using Trados, please refer them to us!
What if I refer an existing RWS customer?
A referral team member will contact you once we have processed your submission and inform you whether the referral qualifies or not. No other information will be shared for rejected referrals.
Who could benefit from Trados?
Of course, we believe everyone involved in translation can benefit from Trados, but we’re specifically interested in businesses that need cloud-based translation collaboration (Trados Team) or translation management (Trados Accelerate & Trados Enterprise) solutions to centralize and streamline their work.
Is there a limit on the number of referrals I can submit?
No! While we only want you to refer businesses that are truly interested in making a purchase, you can refer as many as you believe would benefit from Trados. However, we reserve the right to remove anyone from the program for submitting false or misleading information.
Is there a way for me to track the status of my referrals?
Once we receive your submission, you will be contacted by our referral team to inform you that your referral has either been accepted or rejected. If accepted, you’ll get a dedicated referral team lead to work with you directly and to keep you up to date on the status of your referral.
What criteria must be met for me to earn a 12-month subscription to Trados Studio Freelance?
The criteria is a completed sale of either Trados Team, Trados Accelerate, or Trados Enterprise by your referral.
How and when will I receive my subscription code?
Once your referral has made a purchase and payment has been received, we will send you an email with your code. This code can then be redeemed at our online store for a free 12-month subscription of Trados Studio Freelance.
How can I use my free subscription code?
Codes are valid for one year and can be redeemed at any time within that period. If you have an existing Trados Studio Freelance subscription, the time will be appended to your subscription. For example, if you already have an active subscription but make 2 valid referrals, you can redeem both codes to extend your existing subscription by an additional two years.
Alternatively, you may forward the code to an associate to allow them to begin or extend their subscription. Please feel free to ask us and a member of our referral team will be happy to discuss your options.
Who do I contact if I have any questions?
The referral team member who contacts you about your submission will answer any questions you have.
