Enhance collaboration with rich text support for Project Conversations and terminology comments

An introduction to translation collaboration
Effective collaboration is the backbone of any successful translation project, and having the right communication tools is essential for keeping teams aligned. Available in Trados Team, Trados Accelerate, and Trados Enterprise, the Project Conversations feature enables seamless project-wide and termbase-level communication. It connects cross-functional project stakeholders - including content requesters, project managers, and terminologists - to collaborate effectively.  
 
When new comments are added to projects, relevant stakeholders are instantly notified, both within the application and via email. Notifications for subsequent replies keep everyone informed and ensure conversations stay active and actionable. 
 
To further enhance this feature, we’re excited to introduce Rich Text support for Project Conversations and terminology comments. This enhancement empowers users to communicate with greater clarity, precision, and flexibility, creating a smoother workflow and more productive discussions. 
 
With Rich Text support, users can now: 
  • Engage specific team members by mentioning users in comments, ensuring the right people are notified and can take appropriate action.  
  • Style comments to highlight key points using bold, underlined or italic text. 
  • Organize ideas with bulleted or numbered lists for improved readability. 
  • Provide additional context by including direct links to websites, documents, or other resources.

These new capabilities make it easier to ensure your comments are impactful and actionable, keeping your team aligned and reducing the risk of miscommunication or missed messages.
