Emma Goldsmith, RGN, DipTrans, MITI, is a freelance Spanish to English medical translator who made a career switch from nursing some 25 years ago. In addition to her translation work, Emma keeps busy as the current webmaster for MET (Mediterranean Editors and Translators) and as a blogger at “Signs & Symptoms of Translation”, where she writes about medical translation, Spanish-English terminology and SDL Trados Studio.
