What security and privacy measures are in place to protect my data when using AI capabilities in Trados?
When using RWS-hosted large language models (LLMs) in Trados, your data is processed entirely within the Trados platform and hosted in secure data centers. Your data never leaves our environment and is managed in accordance with our strict security and privacy policies, aligned with relevant industry standards and certifications.
If you use your own LLM subscription (such as an external provider), your data is securely transferred to and from that provider.
In both cases, all data exchanges are encrypted, and communication with the LLM is transactional-meaning your data is not stored or retained once the request is complete.
Please note: when using external LLMs, the security and privacy of your data is managed by the provider you select, and you assume all associated risks.
