Part 4 – Managing terminology in a collaborative localization workflow
Terminology is a team endeavour! In these times of globalization and content marketing, there is no longer any debate about the importance of terminology. However, there are still questions to be answered, such as the ‘how’, ‘who’, and ‘when’, with the ideal process involving all stakeholders in a collaborative workflow.
These stakeholders include translators who provide suggestions for new terms or translation proposals for existing terminology; experts who create source language terms, discuss alternative possibilities and commit themselves to certain terms; and also the network of employees involved in the company across worldwide subsidiaries, which are involved in the approval of the foreign-language terms.
Klaus Fleischmann's free webinar shows how all these component players can work together and deliver a win-win situation.
