Can I purchase or upgrade to Trados Studio 2024 Freelance Plus?
Trados Studio Freelance Plus licenses were created a number of years ago to enable Freelance Translators to have 2 activations on 2 machines. For example: 1 x activation on their PC and 1 x activation on their laptop.
Over the years not only has technology moved forward but so has Trados Studio. Now, with a Trados Studio subscription, you receive 2 activations – 1 x desktop and 1 x cloud. This means with a Trados Studio subscription, users can access their instance of Studio on any machine as long as they have logged out of the previous instance.
As a result, we will no longer be selling Trados Studio Freelance Plus to new customers. Should you wish to purchase a Trados Studio subscription, please visit our Pricing page.
Information for existing Freelance Plus users:
If you are an existing Trados Studio 2022, 2021 or 2019 Freelance Plus user, you can still upgrade to Trados Studio 2024 Freelance Plus if you wish.
If you are an existing Trados Studio 2022 Freelance Plus user with a valid support and maintenance agreement (SMA), you would have received Trados Studio 2024 Freelance Plus free upon release. You can find the Trados Studio 2024 package in your RWS account.
