Founded in 1982 in Argentina by a group of visionary translators and interpreters AATI has a mission to champion the interests of scientific-technical and literary translators and interpreters. AATI offers its members excellent quality services, including top-notch training to meet changing needs of the industry and new technologies, a web directory of accredited partners, the dissemination of job offers, scholarships, a newsletter with relevant information for the performance of the profession and accounting, legal and professional advice, among other benefits.

Goals

  • Represent and protect the interests of literary and technical-scientific translators and interpreters.
  • Maintain fluid interaction with associations, training institutions and professional associations at a national, regional and international level. 
  • Disseminate and organize activities of interest to translators and interpreters, both in the labor and training fields. 
  • Promote continuous training and offer members resources to perform ethically and professionally in today's globalized and competitive context.
  • Offer members a range of quality services and benefits that reinforce their identification with the Association.
