University of Lille Case Study

The University of Lille, a state university, was founded in 1562 and is one of the leading science universities in France. The university aims to sharpen student's critical thinking and teach them to look at things from different perspectives to encourage thought development.

In this case study, Rudy Loock at the University of Lille describes how inclusion of course modules that focus on new technology and project management skills are integral to its translation studies course.

The University of Lille was also the first university to work in conjunction with Trados to award their top students with free Trados Studio licenses. Thanks to Rudy this award has now been offered to other partner universities around the world.
