With the constant and rapid evolution of CAT tools, it can be difficult to know where to begin when thinking about introducing a CAT tool module into your curriculum.
This eBook investigates how CAT tools are currently taught in universities around the world through a series of case studies with current CAT tool lecturers. We present our recommendations as to what the core contents of a university CAT tool module should include with a sample framework. We look at which tools are currently taught, as it is useful to critically evaluate more than one type of CAT tool, and offer some tips for teaching CAT tools using the market-leading software, Trados Studio.
